The mighty falls drop right into the powerful Zambezi River, making it one of the world’s seven natural wonders. If you’re an adrenaline seeker, you can bungee jump from the top of the Falls here, 111 metres towards the rumbling Zambezi below. On clear days, you can see the actual spray of the Falls’ water from up to 50 kilometres away.
Victoria Falls is also a great destination for adventure activities such as white river rafting, abseiling, river-boating, and a range of airborne sports. If you plan your Zimbabwe overland safari during a night with a full moon, you’ll be permitted to stay in the park late into the night, giving you the phenomenal opportunity of witnessing the enchanting rainbow in the dark over the Falls.
