Contact Us

During our standard working hours (GMT+2), our team moves fast—we endeavor to make contact within 5 minutes of receiving your enquiry. A consultant will either give you a call (if you provided a number) or drop you a quick WhatsApp message to see if you are available to chat about your travel plans. Outside of office hours, we aim to respond to all enquiries within 24 hours. For immediate assistance, you can also use our Live Chat, drop us a message on WhatsApp, or call our international toll-free numbers.

To help us design your ideal trip right from the start, it’s helpful if you have a rough idea of your travel dates, who you are traveling with, your budget, and any specific countries or reserves you are desperate to see. Don't worry if you aren't completely sure yet—our experts are here to guide you!

Our free 20-minute chat is a no-obligation opportunity for you to speak directly with one of our experienced travel consultants. We will discuss your travel goals, bucket-list destinations, budget, and preferred travel style. This helps us start piecing together the perfect tailor-made African adventure for you.

Once you are 100% happy with the tailor-made itinerary our consultants have designed for you, we will send you a secure booking form and invoice. Your adventure is officially secured as soon as we receive your completed form and initial deposit.

Because our expert team is fully remote and based across Southern Africa, including Johannesburg, KwaZulu-Natal, Cape Town, Port Elizabeth, and the Garden Route, we handle all of our trip planning and consultations online or over the phone. However, we absolutely love building personal relationships with our travelers! If your tour kicks off in Cape Town, your consultant will often arrange a dinner meetup with you just to catch up in person, say hello, and celebrate the start of your adventure.

Yes. Our relationship doesn't end once you hit the road. Along with the expert guidance of your on-tour guides, African Overland Tours provides a 24/7 emergency contact number so you have total peace of mind and support for the duration of your trip.
