This tour offers the best of Kenya’s national parks and ends in Diani Beach, Mombasa, therefore allowing you to experience Kenya in a nutshell, while staying at amazing camps and a spectacular lodge along the way. It is the perfect safari opportunity that offers comfort with wildlife and finish it off with wonderful open beaches.
The first highlight of your safari is your journey straight from the hustle and bustle of Nairobi to one of the greatest wildlife destinations in the world: the Masai Mara. Following a brief introduction to your upcoming adventure, it is time to take your 4×4 vehicle west. Driving into Masai land is evident when city dwellings are replaced by acacias and shrubs. After lunch, you will embark on your first game drive in the Masai Mara Game Reserve. On a safari, you can expect to see many species including lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, and many others. There will be many interesting facts about wildlife and the Mara ecosystem that your safari guide will share with you. In only the first day of your safari, you will be pleasantly surprised by how much you will discover and learn. As the shadows lengthen, you will move toward your home for the next three nights, the Base Camp Masai Mara, which is located at the banks of the Talek River.

This morning, you will be treated to a full day of game drives in the Masai Mara. During the Great Migration, you can observe wildebeest and zebras swimming through crocodile-infested waters at the Mara River whilst visiting the Mara. It is possible to encounter the Big Five and many others in the Masai Mara throughout the year, since it is a wildlife destination year-round. Take in the vast expanses of the plains and the breathtaking scenery around you with the wind in your hair. You should be on the lookout for wildlife around your camp while enjoying a sundowner before dinner since animals do not recognise borders.

After leaving the Masai Mara behind, you travel to Lake Naivasha, one of the few freshwater lakes in the Great Rift Valley, Kenya’s flower capital. You will settle into your home for the night on the shores of the lake around lunchtime, and you will be able to spend the afternoon at your leisure. If you’re interested in spotting some of the 500 bird species on the lake you can take a boat tour, take a stroll around the lodge’s grounds or spend the day by the pool and relax with a good book. Take a break and slow down before your next safari journey.

The next morning, you are refreshed from yesterday’s rest and make your way to Amboseli. On your way to the Tanzanian border, you pass the Ngong Mountains on the way, which is home to large elephant herds in Amboseli. If the weather allows, you will be rewarded for the long drive with one of the most breathtaking views of your life: Tanzania’s Kilimanjaro and its snow-capped Uhuru Peak can be spotted in the distance as elephants stroll serenely through acacia trees. We will be staying at the Elerai Camp for the next two nights, which is located in a private conservation area south of the park. Enjoy wildlife viewing at the camp’s own waterhole or swimming in the pool while taking in a view of Mount Kilimanjaro.

In today’s itinerary, we will be taking a full-day game drive in Amboseli National Park. During the rainy season, Amboseli becomes a lush green oasis as a result of Kilimanjaro’s melting snow peaks. Together with your safari guide, observe the highly developed social behaviour of elephant herds. There are many other animals that can be observed along the way, including cheetahs, wildebeests, zebras, and waterbucks. Make the most of the experience and take the time to appreciate the surroundings. We will return to Elerai Camp for the night after an exciting day in the wilderness.

Having spent some exciting days in some of Kenya’s most well-known national parks, it is time to dust off and take it easy. We will visit Diani Beach on Kenya’s south coast today. In order to avoid the hectic traffic in Mombasa, we take a backroad after passing the Shimba Hills National Reserve. Upon our arrival at Diani Beach, a small beach town with a 13 kilometre coastline of uninterrupted tropical beaches, we will transport you to your beach hotel and say our farewells. Think back on your great Kenyan safari experiences as you relax in the warm Indian Ocean and enjoy excellent restaurants and bars. Our staff can assist you with suggestions and reservations for your beach hotel.
