The best time to visit Uganda is during the dry seasons in June–September and December–February, when rainfall is low, wildlife viewing is excellent, and trekking conditions are ideal. March–May also offer good travel opportunities, with lush green landscapes, fewer crowds, and great birdwatching, though occasional rains can make some areas muddy. Travel in October and November can be more unpredictable due to short rains, but visitors are rewarded with vibrant scenery and lighter tourist numbers. Overall, Uganda is a year-round destination, with each season offering its own unique advantages.
