With 14 years of experience and a life that began in the bush of the Kruger National Park district, my passion for Africa isn’t just a job, it’s in my blood. I transitioned from a game ranger to an overland guide, spending five incredible years leading tours across the continent, from the Namibian desert to the waterways of the Okavango.
Travel has taught me to appreciate the smaller things in life and has given me a profound understanding of people from all walks of life. For me, the greatest joy on tour wasn’t just a breathtaking wildlife encounter; it was seeing the awe and love in the eyes of a first-time traveller experiencing an African sunset or their first elephant sighting. Those are the moments that truly matter.
My Dream African Adventure
If I were to design the ultimate trip, it would be a journey of authentic connection. We’d camp in the heart of Botswana’s Okavango Delta and Chobe National Park, listening to the sounds of the night around a campfire. It would also include meaningful volunteer work in Namibia and diving in Inhambane, Mozambique, experiences that allow you to give back and connect with the raw beauty of Africa, far from the usual tourist trails.
