Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be greeted by a representative who will assist you with the transfer to your hotel in Arusha. The rest of the day is yours to relax and unwind. Please note that meals are not included today.

After breakfast, we’ll embark on a journey to the western edge of Mount Kilimanjaro, where we’ll immerse ourselves in the authentic Maasai culture at the Olpopongi Maasai Village. We’ll spend the day experiencing their way of life, enjoying a traditional lunch, and learning about their hunting techniques and traditional medicine on a guided walking safari.
The following day, we’ll start early with a morning game drive in the park, followed by lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, we’ll engage in various Maasai cultural activities, including spear throwing, donkey rides, and nature walks.

Following breakfast, we’ll depart for the Ngorongoro Highlands, stopping at the charming Mto wa Mbu village for a local lunch. Here, we’ll have the opportunity to immerse ourselves in the local culture, visiting a banana plantation and learning about the process of brewing local banana beer. We’ll then continue our journey to the Karatu area, where we’ll enjoy dinner.

Following breakfast, we’ll head to Mto wa Mbu village for a fascinating cultural experience. We’ll explore the village on a guided tour, gaining insights into the daily lives of the local people. Afterward, we’ll hop on a tuk-tuk, a popular mode of transport in the area, to further explore the village and interact with the community. Our cultural immersion continues with a visit to an authentic Maasai village, where we’ll learn about their traditions and way of life. We’ll return to the lodge in the evening for dinner.

Following breakfast, we’ll embark on a scenic drive to the Lake Eyasi area, arriving at Kisimangeda Teted Camp in time for lunch.
In the afternoon, we’ll visit the Datoga tribe, a fascinating group of people known for their distinctive culture and traditions. We’ll have the opportunity to learn about their way of life, admire their intricate beadwork and blacksmithing skills, and witness their unique eye tattoos.

After a hearty breakfast, we’ll embark on a unique cultural experience, visiting the Hadzabe tribe, one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer societies in Africa. We’ll spend the day with these fascinating people, learning about their traditional way of life, witnessing their hunting and gathering techniques, and experiencing their simple yet fulfilling existence.

Hadzabe Tribe Cultural Experience
Following breakfast, we’ll pack a picnic lunch and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s natural wonders. This UNESCO World Heritage Site offers unparalleled wildlife viewing opportunities, with the chance to spot the Big Five and other iconic African animals. After a memorable day exploring the crater, we’ll return to the lodge.
