Arrival Transfer from Kilimanjoro International Airport

After breakfast, we’ll embark on a journey to the western edge of Mount Kilimanjaro, where we’ll immerse ourselves in the authentic Maasai culture at the Olpopongi Maasai Village. We’ll spend the day experiencing their way of life, enjoying a traditional lunch, and learning about their hunting techniques and traditional medicine on a guided walking safari.

The following day, we’ll start early with a morning game drive in the park, followed by lunch at the lodge. In the afternoon, we’ll engage in various Maasai cultural activities, including spear throwing, donkey rides, and nature walks.

We’ll then continue our journey to the Karatu area, where we’ll enjoy dinner.

Afterward, we’ll hop on a tuk-tuk, a popular mode of transport in the area, to further explore the village and interact with the community. Our cultural immersion continues with a visit to an authentic Maasai village, where we’ll learn about their traditions and way of life. We’ll return to the lodge in the evening for dinner.

Morning Village tour in Mto wa Mbu, Explore the village by Tuk tuk, Masai Village Visit

Following breakfast, we’ll embark on a scenic drive to the Lake Eyasi area, arriving at Kisimangeda Teted Camp in time for lunch.

In the afternoon, we’ll visit the Datoga tribe, a fascinating group of people known for their distinctive culture and traditions. We’ll have the opportunity to learn about their way of life, admire their intricate beadwork and blacksmithing skills, and witness their unique eye tattoos.
