Our 5 Day Tanzania Tented Camp Safari takes you to the beauty that is the infamous Serengeti National Park, Taranagire National Park and Ngorongoro Crater while camping in the untamed wilderness and heading off on action-packed safaris. You will travel with approximately 7 people that are like-minded, if not people you have chosen to travel with.
Specially designed 4×4 vehicles will take you on the rough Tanzanian roads, but these are the best times for game viewing as you are guaranteed a window seat.
You be collected from your hotel and then take drive to the beautiful Tarangire National Park. Travelling through the reserve in an open air vehicle, experience a close up with the elephants, buffalos, zebras, gnus as well as various types of antelope and gazelles. We will enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush and take in more of the park. After admiring the wonders of nature, we make our way out of the park and drive to the Lake Burunge Baobab Tented Lodge where you can relax amongst the bushes with stunning views of the lake. You will be able to socialise in the lounge, bar or dining area which are built on a raised wooden deck.

We will make our way to the perfect vantage point of the Ngorongoro Crater. Then we will circle the crater and descend to the other side. A bumpy ride will take us to the Masaai villages as we make our way to the Serengeti National Park. The Naabi Hill entrance gate gives us a fantastic viewpoint across the plains of the Serengeti. It is then off to the Seronera Area in the central part of the Serengeti where you can look out for the ‘Big Five’. Lunch will be taken en-route. We will arrive at the Kati Kati Tented Camp in the late afternoon. This is a secluded camp which is perfect for listening to the call of the wild under the glistening starry skies.

We will have a hearty breakfast to fill us up for a game drive in the Serengeti National Park. Lunch will be at a lovely picnic spot. Depending on the time of the year you may be able to witness the great migration where thousands of wildebeests, zebras and Thompson gazelles head for greener pastures. During October and November it is the rainy season and you will see the animals moving from the Kenyan Masai Mara through to the northwest. April, May and June brings heavy rain and so the herds travel back to the western and north-western part of the Serengeti. With all these animals a large presence of predators are in tow and kills might be seen. We return to Kati Kati camp for what we hope will be a time of sharing the action that you saw during the day.

A seafood lover’s dream! Think grilled lobster, spicy peri-peri chicken, and coconut-infused stews—all fresh and flavorful.
Carry cash (Meticais or USD)—many remote areas don’t accept cards, and ATMs can be unreliable.
Try ugali (maize porridge), brochettes (grilled skewers), and fresh tropical fruit. Vegetarian options are widely available.
Yes, most trucks have charging points, and campsites usually offer power stations. Bringing a power bank is still a good idea for remote areas.
