Today is devoted purely to the abundant wildlife found in the Etosha National Park. The park, which surrounds a parched salt desert known as the Etosha Pan, is a vital sanctuary. It is home to 4 of the ‘Big 5’ – elephant, lion, leopard and rhino. Game viewing is primarily focused around the numerous waterholes, some spring-fed and some from boreholes, offering ideal places to sit and watch over 114 different game species and more than 340 bird species.
