You will meet your guide at the Maun Airport at 14h30 to begin your safari. On the northern border of the Central Kalahari Game Reserve, you will travel 160km to the Deception Valley Private Reserve. You will receive a safari briefing upon arrival. Accommodation this evening will be spent in a comfortable camp.
Two days will be dedicated to exploring the area, including game drives and nature walks led by San trackers. As well as sharing their intricate bush knowledge, they will also give you a glimpse into their fascinating and unique culture. In addition, you’ll have the opportunity to experience game drives, which will show you a fascinating range of desert specialized wildlife such as oryx and predators like lions, hyenas, and cheetahs. Uninterrupted beauty and vast open spaces await you.

Before going to Makgadikgadi, you’ll take a short game drive as the sun rises. You will spend one night at a camp overlooking the Boteti River in Khumaga village, on the edge of Makgadikgadi National Park. Arrive for lunch, have some down-time to rest and then enjoy a game drive along the Boteti river before enjoying a short siesta.
