Your driver will pick you up at your hotel in Entebbe and drive you to Murchison Falls. Visit the Ziwa Rhino and Wildlife Ranch along the way, which has the honour of being the only wild rhino sanctuary in Uganda. A total of 19 southern white rhinos live in the sanctuary at the moment. With all the activities the ranch has to offer, including rhino trekking, bird watching, nature walks, and relaxation, the ranch has become increasingly popular with tourists. Following a picnic lunch, we will drive to one of Uganda’s oldest conservation areas, Murchison Falls. A journey of approximately 9 hours is expected excluding the stop. Murchison National Park is located in the northern part of Albertine Rift Valley, where the huge Bunyoro escarpment merges with the vast Acholi plains.

You will be taken on a morning game drive in Murchison Falls National Park in search of wildlife such as elephant, buffalo, giraffe, hartebeest, and oribi after an early breakfast. Afterwards, you will be taken on a boat ride that will include a cheese and wine tasting. This boat trip to view the magnificent Murchison Falls is a highlight of any visit to Murchison Falls Conservation Area. Boat trips are normally scheduled in the morning and afternoon. In addition to hippos and crocodiles, you will see a wide variety of birds and game. The voyage takes about three hours. Lunch will be served at the lodge followed by a game drive in the evening

The journey to Kibale National Park will begin with an early breakfast, passing through verdant countryside and traditional homesteads and farms as you travel to Fort Portal. Northern and central parts of the park are dominated by forest, interspersed with patches of grassland and swamp.

Your day begins with an early breakfast before you are taken to the Park Headquarters for a briefing, followed by a drive to the start point of your trek. A good level of walking fitness is essential for the trek, as it can be quite strenuous. A basket weaving session will then be conducted with the women of the Buhoma community from grass collected from the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest. Women in this community earn an income from these baskets. In the gardens, you will be able to sit and relax as the women introduce you to the skills of weaving. As part of your tea break, you may enjoy delicious homemade doughnuts and cinnamon bread.
