Why We Partner with G Adventures

tanzania-tented-camp-safari

We are proud to partner with G Adventures, because they offer an unparalleled African travel experience. Here are just a few of the reasons why we wholeheartedly recommend them:

  • Guaranteed Departures – Travel with Confidence: G Adventures offers guaranteed departures on all their tours, meaning once you book, your trip is happening. This removes the uncertainty often associated with group travel and provides peace of mind, allowing clients to plan their adventures without fear of cancellation.
  • “G for Good” – Travel with Purpose: G Adventures isn’t just about seeing the world; it’s about changing it. Their G for Good philosophy means every trip is designed to benefit local communities directly, empowering travelers to make a tangible positive impact through their tourism dollars. This appeals to conscious travelers looking for more than just a vacation.

  • Small Group, Big Experiences: They specialize in intimate, small group tours, fostering a sense of camaraderie and allowing for deeper cultural immersion. This contrasts with large, impersonal bus tours, offering clients a more authentic, flexible, and personal travel experience.

  • Unbeatable Access & Local Expertise: Through their global network and local guides,
G Adventures provides unparalleled access to unique experiences and off-the-beaten-path locations that independent travelers might miss. Their tour leaders are not just guides; they are community members who offer genuine insights and connections.

  • Adventure for Every Style (and Wallet): With a diverse range of travel styles (from active and wildlife to comfort and marine), G Adventures caters to a broad spectrum of interests and budgets. This flexibility ensures there’s a perfect adventure waiting for almost anyone, from backpackers to those seeking a bit more luxury.

EXPERIENCE AFRICA WITH G ADVENTURES

With 30 years of experience, G Adventures has refined group travel into an art form, balancing meticulously planned itineraries with the flexibility for spontaneous discoveries. This extensive history means they have the knowledge, infrastructure, and relationships to deliver consistently exceptional, safe, and impactful journeys that other operators often struggle to replicate.

Hi Tammy,
Thanks for the welcome back note. I really do love overland travel in Africa and the contrast in the two trips was dramatic. I especially enjoyed our meeting in Cape Town where you shared your own extraordinary experiences.
Tsitsikamma on the coast with wild windy weather is probably the spot that will remain in my memory as outstanding.
I'll add some pics on the link you sent. I will recommend you and your organization to others planning trips to Africa.
All the best,
Charles Hubert

Hi Lee,
Hope you are keeping well. So sorry for the delay getting back to you, things have been crazy hectic since I got home. I haven't even looked through my photos properly yet!
I had a great time, and thinking about the next one as always.
Khwai guest house is so cool! They were amazing. The transfers to and from Maun were right on time, same driver both ways and he was great. The staff at the guest house are lovely and so accommodating. I had the benefit of being there in low season so there was only me and two other guests. I was the only person on most of the game drives so that was cool. The resident guide Stan was so committed to driving until we found every animal, and we did find everything! I haven't found a better location for wildlife yet. It's a great place to end a Botswana trip, because if you've missed animals elsewhere, you'll see them in Khwai. We even got closer to the lions than we wanted to, when the truck got stuck and they arrived while we were trying to get unstuck! But I'm here to tell the tale.
And as you'll be aware the roads are very flooded and broken up after the heavy rains, so they're routes at the moment, not roads! A lot of detours and unpredictable arrival times, and lots of roadworks in Zimbabwe from Bulawayo to Vic Falls. So I'd advise anyone going soon to just pack their patience and lean into it, it's Africa with a bit extra
I'm going to try to get my photos done at the weekend when I have time and I'll send you some.
Thanks again for helping me to organise a great trip and I'll be in touch for next time!
Best wishes,
Sinead.

Hi Tammy,
A week ago today I got on a plane at Vic Falls to come home. We’d just had our last breakfast together and everyone was in tears, including me. Some were heading off to Vic Falls activities, but I was coming home. My trip to Dubai had been cancelled due to Trump’s war. I can’t adequately describe how amazing the trip was. Lots of factors: we started off with only 7 people, 5 of them young women. Plenty of space on the truck. We got bogged in on Day 3 and all had to dig and push the truck out of a dry river bed. That really made us a team. By the end of Etosha
we were really quite close The crew were outstanding, Costa and William. The game drives were extraordinary. We saw everything except leopard, but we did see lions mating, a buffalo successfully fighting off an attack by a croc, cheetahs playing, a family of elephants going for a swim, a pregnant rhino, a baboon sitting back-to back with a fish eagle on a branch and more and more and more. I'm trying to work out when I can come back to do the Delta, maybe with my wife. I’d happily do it all again tomorrow. I’d recommend doing it solo too.
Thanks for all your help and advice for me and Harry. He loved it as much as I did.
Next time, dinner is on me.
Warmest regards
George

Hi Bernelle,
Apologies for the late response - I'm still catching my breath :-)
The trip was great, the truck breakdowns added the salt and flavor.
I'll definitely will be using the repeat traveler discount.
Many thanks!

Hi Minette
Thank you for your email. We had the most amazing two weeks enjoying all the Safari’s in the three different locations. The Serengeti and the crater were completely awesome.
We had a small group of only five of us in total which was a bit of a pity in many ways, but I’m sure there was some advantages to that including more space on the truck.
It was a great trip and I have left a review on TripAdvisor
Many thanks for your help during the planning of the trip and answering all the questions we asked you
No more trips at the moment, but I will be back if we decide to come back and do other parts of Africa
Many thanks
Carol and Clive
