The accommodation varies from 2-man dome tents to bedded dorm room accommodation (route depending). You will be sleeping on the ground in a spacious 2-man dome tent comfortably sleeping 2 adult travellers with luggage. Mosquito nets are sewn into the tent door and window. Sleeping mats are included, but sleeping bags are excluded. Waterproof flysheets are included to cover the tents, in case of rain.

Africa Travel Co Food on Tour
On camping tours the food is prepared by the Cook with your assistance. There is a fully equipped kitchen on the truck where most of your meals are prepared on a camping safari. The cook will prepare the meals, but you are asked to help where you can – there is something special about enjoying the meals out in nature, especially around the campfire!
You can enjoy tasty food made from local organic ingredients purchased from the local communities. They also purchase fresh goods and other food items from local shops and small supermarkets, in case the local food isn’t fresh.
The breakfasts are fairly simple consisting of bread (or toast), spreads, cereals, fruit, rusks with occasional hot breakfasts such as eggs bacon or pancakes. Lunches include sandwiches with a variety of fillings and salads. Dinners such as curries, stews, pastas, braais and even roasts can be enjoyed.
