Day 2: Kampala – Fort Portal, Uganda

Day 7: Gorilla Trekking, Uganda

Be ready for the heart-pounding climax of your adventure – an awe-inspiring gorilla trek in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park! As the first rays of dawn kiss the mountain peaks, we head deep into the emerald embrace of the rainforest.

At the park entrance, your highly skilled ranger/guide will provide a comprehensive briefing, ensuring a safe and rewarding trek. Then, the adventure truly begins! Embark on a trek that varies in length and difficulty, following the trail of a designated gorilla family. The terrain may challenge you, but the anticipation of encountering these magnificent creatures will propel you forward.

After some time navigating the lush rainforest, a moment you’ll never forget arrives. You come face-to-face with a gorilla family! Spend a magical hour observing their gentle interactions, the playful young ones, and the serene silverbacks. Witnessing these endangered creatures in their natural habitat is a true privilege, a connection with nature that will leave a lasting impression.

Please Note: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park got four different areas to explore: Rushaga, Buhoma, Nkuringo, and Ruhija. Depending on which gorilla permits are available, your group might track these amazing creatures in any one of these sectors. But no worries, they’re all part of the awesome Bwindi experience! The group may be split up for this excursion.

Day 8: Bwindi – Kigali, Rwanda

Our Rwandan adventure begins as we cross the border and head towards the vibrant capital city, Kigali. This bustling metropolis offers a glimpse into a nation determined to rise above its past. First up, we delve into the complexities of Rwanda’s history with a visit to the Kigali Genocide Memorial. This poignant museum serves as a powerful reminder of the darkness that once shrouded the country. Through exhibits and personal stories, we gain a deeper understanding of the events that shaped Rwanda’s present. Following this introspective experience, we lighten the mood with a delicious lunch at Nyamirambo Women’s Centre. This vibrant hub empowers women through education and training programs. Savour a delectable meal prepared by the center’s participants, a taste of Rwandan cuisine infused with hope and resilience. As our tour concludes upon arrival at the hotel, you’ll carry a newfound appreciation for Rwanda’s spirit.
