Day 1

Arusha, Tanzania

Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha airport, you will receive a warm welcome and transfer to your hotel. Our representative will assist with check-in and provide a briefing about your upcoming Tanzania safari packages journey.

Day 2

Arusha to Tarangire National Park, Tanzania

Day 3

Lake Manyara National Park, Tanzania

Later, you’ll transfer to the inviting Marera Valley Lodge or similar for a full board dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4

Serengeti National Park, Tanzania

An early breakfast kicks off your iconic journey towards the legendary Serengeti National Park. Your scenic route takes you through the magnificent Ngorongoro Conservation Area, with a fascinating brief stop at the Oldupai Museum, a site of significant paleoanthropological discoveries. Enjoy an en-route game viewing drive as you make your way to the Baobab Central Serengeti Camp or similar for check-in, a full board dinner, and your overnight stay amidst the sounds of the African bush.

Day 5

Serengeti National Park, Tanzania

Prepare for an epic full day of game viewing in the sprawling, game-rich plains of the Serengeti. Armed with a picnic lunch, you’ll search for the elusive leopard, the magnificent black and white rhino, impalas, Grant’s and Thompson’s gazelles, Masai giraffes, Burchell’s zebras, and warthogs, among countless other species. Return to Baobab Central Serengeti Camp or similar for another evening of full board comfort under the stars.

Day 6

Serengeti National Park – Ngorongoro Conservation Area, Tanzania

Your day begins with a final game drive in the southern reaches of the Serengeti, soaking in the last moments of its vast beauty. Later, you’ll exit the park via the Naabi gate and embark on a scenic drive to Karatu, heading towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Your accommodation for the night will be Martina’s Retreat or similar, where you’ll enjoy a full board dinner and prepare for the next day’s incredible crater exploration.

Day 7

Ngorongoro Crater, Tanzania

Today is a highlight as you descend an incredible 610 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater floor, often described as one of the richest wildlife habitats on Earth. This largest freestanding caldera in the world, spanning approximately 10km in diameter, boasts truly breathtaking and amazing scenery. With a picnic lunch enjoyed within the crater, you’ll spend the day spotting giant Savannah elephants, spotted hyenas, wild dogs, Burchell’s zebras, and magnificent prides of lions. Remember to bring warm clothing as the Ngorongoro area tends to be cold. After an unforgettable day, return to Martina’s Retreat or similar to freshen up, enjoy dinner, and an overnight stay.

Day 8

Ngorongoro – Arusha, Tanzania

After a final breakfast, with cherished memories and a packed lunch, your professional guide-driver will drive you back via Arusha to the Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your onward flight. This concludes your extraordinary 8 day Tanzanian safari, leaving you with a lifetime of incredible wildlife encounters and breathtaking landscapes
