Continue your journey north, crossing the border into Namibia and stopping at the majestic Orange River. Take a refreshing swim in the cool waters or simply relax on the riverbank and soak in the stunning scenery.
Explore this dry and remote region of South Africa on a full day’s journey north. Pass through Namibia in the afternoon and stop at picturesque Orange River for the evening.

Day 4: Orange River – Fish River Canyon – Keetmanshoop, Namibia
Continue on to Fish River Canyon after spending the morning relaxing along the banks of the Orange River. As you travel north towards Keetmanshoop, you’ll enjoy dramatic Namibian landscapes as you explore this breathtaking canyon. Afterwards, visit Giant’s Playground, a geological formation.

Day 5: Keetmanshoop – Namib Desert, Namibia

Explore the dunes of Sossusvlei and the canyons of Sesriem. For those wanting to Climb Dune 45 for a breathtaking view – You can join the crew on this optional activity.
Sossusvlei is a giant clay pan enclosed by 300m high sand dunes, making it the world’s largest sand pan. Take advantage of some free time to explore the sand dunes alone. A small canyon in the area, Sesriem Canyon, is a must-see.

Day 7: Namib Desert – Swakopmund, Namibia
Upon arrival in Swakopmund, enjoy views of the Namib desert. It will take us hours to cross the seemingly empty land between Swakopmund and the Namib Desert today. As we travel through Solitaire, we will stop at a filling station, a general store, and a small mechanical workshop. The only town on Namibia’s coast with a deep-sea harbour is Walvis Bay, which we will pass through before reaching Swakopmund.
We will spend two nights exploring this historical town of Swakopmund, which offers a number of activities, such as sandboarding and skydiving. There are prehistoric Welwitschia plants in this region as well as a bizarre lunar landscape and an unforgettable sunset.

Day 8: Swakopmund, Namibia

Day 9: Swakopmund – Etosha National Park, Namibia
Our tour vehicle will take you on a wildlife safari drive through Etosha National Park in the afternoon. You can drive in an open safari vehicle if you want to explore more. Move eastward into Namibia’s interior. In the distance, you’ll see the imposing Spitzkoppe, also known as Namibia’s Matterhorn. Our touring vehicle will take you on a wildlife safari drive through Etosha National Park. Watch out for elephants, rhinos, antelopes, lions, and giraffes. Watering holes near the campground may be used by animals after sunset. To make the most of your stay here, go on an optional wildlife safari drive in an open safari vehicle.

Day 12: Windhoek – Ghanzi, Namibia
As the group crosses the border into Botswana, another country will be checked off your list. To experience the Kalahari in its fullness, travel east to Ghanzi. Take a walk with the San Bushmen to get a glimpse of how they adapted to this challenging landscape.
Then travel to the heart of the Kalahari Desert through Namibia’s eastern part and Botswana.
After arriving late in the afternoon, camp in Ghanzi.

Day 13: Ghanzi – Maun, Namibia
Throughout today, we will travel along the northern region of the Kalahari Desert. With it’s barren and arid landscape the area still offers extremely beautiful views. On arrival in Maun, we will pick up any supplies needed for our journey into the Delta tomorrow. This evening features a performance by a traditional dance group at the poolside terrace of our hotel.

Day 14: Okavango Delta, Botswana
Explore the Okavango Delta by mokoro and go on wildlife walks. The local ‘polers’ will teach you how to survive in the bush. An exciting safari vehicle journey of about 1-2 hours will take us to the dock to board a mokoro (local canoe) which will take us another 1-2 hours deeper into the Delta to reach our campsite for the evening.

Day 15: Okavango Delta – Nata, Botswana
Before heading back to Maun by mokoro, enjoy the sunrise in the delta. Continue to Nata after picking up your luggage and having lunch in Maun. On arrival in Nata, you have the option to experience a sunset wildlife safari drive or of bushwalk in the area. The watering hole at the camp is a great place to observe elephants at night.

Day 16: Nata – Kasane, Botswana
Make your way to Kasane. The Chobe River is perfect for sunset cruises or photo safaris (Optional). The largest elephant population in southern Africa can be found outside the gates of Chobe National Park in Kasane. Take an optional sunset cruise on the Chobe River. Hippos, elephants, crocodiles, and other wildlife all live along the riverbanks, making this place a photographer’s paradise. Alternatively, you can contact your guide or travel agent to pre-book the optional Chobe River Sunset Cruise.

Day 17: Kasane – Victoria Falls, Botswana
Before crossing into Zimbabwe, take a safari drive in Chobe National Park early in the morning. Lunch is served at the Lusumpuko Women’s Club. Try a helicopter flight over Victoria Falls or visit Victoria Falls during free time.
Arrive at Victoria Falls in the early afternoon after crossing the border into Zimbabwe. You can take part in some adventure activities and see natural wonders from this base.
Whether you choose to raft the mighty Zambezi or to bungee jump with Victoria Falls as a backdrop, you will be awestruck by the immense Victoria Falls.
Please Note: Throughout your trip, you will be staying at the Victoria Falls area of Zimbabwe, not Livingstone (Zambia). You will need a visa to enter the country.
