We’ll stay overnight in comfortable chalets within one of the park’s rest camps.

In the afternoon, we’ll depart for the Kingdom of Eswatini (formerly Swaziland). Our first stop will be the Ngwenya Glass Factory, where skilled artisans create stunning glass products from recycled materials. We’ll then travel through the capital city of Mbabane before arriving at our overnight accommodation in the picturesque mountains of Mhlambanyatsi.

Day 5: Swaziland – Zululand – Private Reserve, South Africa
We’ll start our day with an early breakfast, followed by a visit to Swazi Candles in the Malkerns Valley. Here, we’ll witness local artisans skillfully hand-molding wax into beautiful creations. We’ll also have the opportunity to explore the local market, where we can purchase unique handicrafts, such as batik, hand-woven cloth, and colorful handbags. We’ll then journey through the scenic Ezulwini Valley towards Manzini, the country’s industrial hub. As we continue south towards Nhlangano, we’ll be rewarded with breathtaking vistas at every turn. Crossing the border at Onverwacht, we’ll enter Zululand and head towards Hluhluwe.
Upon arrival, we’ll check into our private lodge, Zulu Nyala Heritage Lodge or similar. The evening will be filled with excitement as we embark on another open vehicle safari, searching for wildlife under the African sky. We’ll return to the lodge for a delicious dinner and a well-deserved rest.

We’ll spend two hours exploring this renowned wildlife sanctuary, known for its successful conservation efforts, particularly in saving the white rhino from extinction. Next, we’ll journey to the charming village of St Lucia and embark on a boat cruise through the pristine waters of Lake St Lucia, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This serene waterway is home to a diverse array of wildlife, including hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species such as fish eagles and Goliath herons. Our day concludes as we make our way to Durban, South Africa’s vibrant coastal city.

We’ll start by driving through the city’s impressive sports corridor, home to world-class sporting facilities. From there, we’ll head to the Blue Lagoon area on the Umgeni River, where we’ll enjoy panoramic views of the Durban Bay. Next, we’ll cruise along the Marine Parade, also known as the Golden Mile, where you’ll encounter colorful rickshaws and the bustling beachfront. We’ll continue to the Point Waterfront, a dynamic new development area with stunning architecture and a vibrant atmosphere. Our journey will take us past the bustling Durban Harbour, one of Africa’s busiest ports, and various historical landmarks. We’ll then explore the city center, admiring iconic buildings such as the City Hall and the Post Office.
A highlight of the tour is a visit to the vibrant Indian Market, where you can immerse yourself in the rich Indian culture, haggle for souvenirs, and savor the aromatic spices. Our Day begins with a flight from King Shaka Airport to Port Elizabeth. Your adventure begins here, where you’ll be met by your guide and start exploring the picturesque Garden Tour. We’ll journey along the stunning N2 national route, known as the Garden Route for its lush, verdant landscapes. Our first stop will be the impressive Paul Sauer Bridge, soaring 139 meters above the Storm River Valley. Next, we’ll venture into Tsitsikamma National Park, a breathtaking expanse of rugged coastline, towering cliffs, secluded beaches, and lush indigenous forests. Here, you can enjoy a leisurely walk or hike to the iconic suspension bridge that spans the Storm River mouth.
We’ll then head to the world-renowned Bloukrans Bridge, a thrilling 216-meter high bungee jump site. For the adventurous, this is an opportunity to experience an adrenaline rush like no other. As we continue our journey, we’ll visit the Birds of Eden, a unique two-hectare dome housing over 3,500 birds from over 220 species. This remarkable sanctuary offers a glimpse into the diverse avian life of Africa. We’ll then make a short stop at Monkeyland, a world-class primate sanctuary where you can encounter a variety of primates, from gibbons to lemurs.

Next, head to Hermanus, a world-renowned whale-watching destination, especially between July and December. After a leisurely lunch, embark on a scenic drive along the stunning coastal route between Hermanus and Gordon’s Bay. Arrive in Cape Town late afternoon, ready to explore the vibrant city.
