Itinerary
Day 1 - 3: Okavango Delta, Botswana
Begin your unforgettable journey in the vibrant town of Maun, where your guide will meet you at the pre-arranged meeting point. Get ready to immerse yourself in the natural beauty and wildlife of Botswana.
You will be greeted by your polers with their dugout canoes (mokoro) once you have reached the edge of the Okavango Delta. Enjoy the spectacular scenery of this unique region while cruising along river channels and floodplains. A mokoro excursion and guided nature walk in the Okavango islands and floodplains and two nights’ camping on a small island with bush ablutions will be part of your three-day exploration of this beautiful area.
In the afternoon of the third day, you will have the option to take a 30-minute helicopter flight with doors removed, offering spectacular views. The rate will be determined by your guide. A USD cash payment is required for this experience, which must be booked during the safari. In addition to seeing large game animals, such as elephants, giraffes, and hippopotami, a flight over the Okavango gives you an eagle’s eye perspective of the area.
Please note: As the safari starts the morning of Day 1, you will need to pre-night in Maun and purchase drinks for your safari the day before your safari starts. Your pickup time will be pre-arranged and communicated directly with you at your accommodation the day prior.

Please Note: For the two days you will spend on the island, you need to pack a smaller bag with what you need (small backpack, hand luggage). You will be transported from the mainland to the island, where you will stay in traditional dugout canoes (mokoro), which are not equipped to handle large bags. While you are on the island, your main luggage will be safe in the vehicle parked in a secure area.
Day 4 - 6: Moremi Game Reserve, Botswana
Your first stop will be Moremi Game Reserve, which combines floodplain habitats with woodland habitats, and is one of the best wilderness areas in Botswana. This region is renowned for the variety of wildlife and birds it has, and the next three days will be spent looking for them. The Game Reserve offers two different types of campsites where you can spend 3 nights exploring it. The norm will be early morning game drives and late afternoon drives as the sun sets.
