Itinerary
Day 1 - 2
Kasane – Chobe National Park, Botswana
Welcome to Botswana! As soon as you land at Kasane Airport, we’ll be there to extend a warm Botswana greeting and introduce you to your guide, who will help you settle in and share details about your upcoming safari. You’ll receive a snack pack before we set off on an unforgettable afternoon boat cruise along the Chobe River, departing straight from Kasane. Afterward, we’ll begin our wildlife drive, moving at a game‑drive pace from Kasane and keeping an eye out for birds and mammals. We’ll spend the first two nights camping in a pristine bush site close to the Chobe River. During the day, explore nearby riverbanks and lush floodplains on game drives. As the sun dips below the horizon, the magic of mobile camping comes alive, sip sundowner drinks around the campfire, enjoy a starlit dinner under the vast African sky, and drift off to sleep to the sounds of the wild.

Day 3 - 5
Chobe – Savute, Botswana
We’ll continue south through Chobe National Park, spending the next three nights camping in a scenic bush campsite nestled in the Savute region, where we’ll explore the rugged, dry landscape on guided game drives. Savute is a famously volatile ecosystem, its terrain and wildlife patterns hinge on the unpredictable behavior of the Savute Channel.
This remarkable channel, which reconnects Linyanti Marshes to Savute Marsh, remained dry for nearly three decades before flowing again in 2009 and reaching the marsh by January 2010, completely transforming the area’s dynamics. During its dry years, lions famously adapted by hunting elephants near isolated waterholes, illustrating how profoundly the channel’s flow, or lack thereof, can shape the wildlife and landscape. Today, as the water returns, Savute is undergoing a new chapter, reshaping habitats, shifting predator-prey dynamics, and offering guests a front-row seat to one of nature’s most dramatic transformations.
Accommodation: Camp: Savute within Chobe National Park

Savute – Khwai Area of the Moremi Game Reserve, Botswana
After an early breakfast, we’ll break camp and continue our drive south to Khwai, pausing along the way for a bush-style picnic lunch. The Khwai River marks the eastern boundary of Moremi Game Reserve and borders the local Khwai Community Area. You’ll be camping for three nights at a scenic site in the Khwai region. During your stay, enjoy a tranquil 2½‑hour mokoro journey, navigating the tranquil channels and lagoons in a traditional dugout canoe, an immersive way to experience the reserve’s waterways.
