Itinerary
Day 1: Gaborone, Botswana
After arriving at the lodge, your guide will meet you for a safari briefing. If you would like to book a transfer from Sir Seretse Khama International to the airport (Gaborone) to the lodge, an additional fee will apply. A city tour (extra charges apply) or relaxing by the pool will be available to you in the afternoon.

Day 2: Serowe, Botswana
Following breakfast, you will depart for your journey north and will spend the night at a cutehotel. During an afternoon game drive with your guide, you will have the opportunity to view white and black rhinos, giraffes, steenbok and wildebeest. Please note that dinner is at your own expense. An overnight stay in a comfortable hotel.

Day 3: Makgadikgadi, Botswana
Breakfast will be served as the sun rises and you will proceed to the Makgadikgadi area, where you will enjoy lunch en route. Khumaga village is situated on the edge of Makgadikgadi National Park, overlooking the Boteti River. You will spend the next two nights at an oasis overlooking the river. We will spend the afternoon in Khumaga, a small village with approximately 1,000 residents. A deeper understanding of the local culture can be gained by learning about their way of life.

Day 4: Makgadikgadi, Botswana

Day 5: Moremi / Khwai, Botswana
Your journey west will begin after breakfast. On your way, you will stop at Maun for lunch (at your own expense). Once you have reached the Khwai area, your adventure begins. The option is available to you to take an air transfer that afternoon to Khwai (1 hour, including a scenic flight of 15 minutes, rate to be determined by your guide- to be scheduled during the safari, payment to be made in USD cash only). Otherwise, you may continue with your guide and vehicle through beautiful wildlife areas and view games throughout the tour. In the Khwai River area, near the Moremi Game Reserve, you will find one of the best wilderness areas of Botswana with a considerable concentration of wildlife. This area is renowned for its wide variety of wildlife and birds, and we will spend the next two days exploring them and enjoying their beauty and sounds. As the sun rises in the morning and sets in the late afternoon, take a game drive in the early morning and late afternoon.

Distance: 340 km, ±6 hrs (excluding lunch stop over)
Day 6: Moremi/Khwai, Botswana
The program will also include a mokoro excursion in a community-managed concession area to gain further insight into this region of the famous Okavango Delta. Game drives will be conducted to explore the region surrounding the Khwai River (North-east Moremi and Khwai concessions).
In the evening, you will be taken on a scenic drive to the mokoro station by your guide, where you will meet your mokoro poler/guide, who will reveal hidden secrets about this water system to you.

Day 7: Chobe National Park, Botswana
As the safari proceeds northward, you will stay two nights at a rustic camp within Chobe National Park in order to explore the northern reaches of the park. We will do a full day of game viewing in the Savuti area of the Chobe National Park towards the Chobe floodplains during this activity. After lunch, you will arrive at your camp in the late afternoon.

Day 8: Chobe National Park, Botswana
Due to the Chobe River providing water throughout the year, northern Chobe is an extremely rich game park. Elephants and buffalo are frequently observed in large herds. There are many predators in this area due to the high density of herbivores. The Chobe Elephant Camp offers the opportunity to engage in both a game drive and a boat cruise within the Chobe National Park, providing a unique opportunity to experience this amazing area both on land and in the water.

Day 9: Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, comfortable lodge
You will spend two nights at a comfortable lodge in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe (Visa required).A member of the lodge team will be able to assist you with arranging activities of your choice that you may choose to participate in during your stay (at your own expense).In the afternoon, you may enjoy a leisurely visit to the majestic falls or you may shop for curios.

Distance: 160 km, ±3.5 hrs driving (plus border crossing)
Day 10: Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe
It is possible to make reservations for tours around Vic Falls town through the lodge’s activities desk. It is possible to participate in a variety of activities in Victoria Falls, including white water rafting down the Zambezi Gorge, canoeing along the upper Zambezi, and helicopter flights over the Victoria Falls. Please ask the lodge reception for more information if you have not pre-arranged these activities.
