Itinerary

Day 1: Windhoek, Namibia

Your transfer driver meets you upon arrival at Windhoek International Airport, welcomes you to Namibia, and drives you to your hotel. You can unwind here as you gradually enter the nation where you will be spending the next three weeks. Your first excursion on this 22-day vacation of Namibia begins in the afternoon when you meet your guide and take a city tour of Windhoek. Stops include the Christ Church, Independence Avenue, and the parliament building, sometimes known as the “ink palace”. Join your fellow travelers for dinner at Joe’s Beerhouse to round off the day (at your own expense). You stay in the Vondelhof Guesthouse for the night.

Accommodation: Vondelhof Guesthouse
Meals: Will be at your own expense
Distance: ± 50 km
Driving time: ± 1 hour
Optional Highlight: Dinner at Joe’s Beerhouse

Day 2: Windhoek – Kalahari, Namibia

You set out to discover Namibia after breakfast. You head south out of Windhoek into the Kalahari. The greatest continuous sand surface on Earth is found in this border crossing desert. The Kalahari dunes are covered in a variety of vegetation, including shrubs, acacias, and grass. In the late afternoon, you arrive at your overnight lodging, which is exquisitely positioned within the crimson sand dunes. Savor the spectacle of hues as the sun sets over the Kalahari. You will spend the night at Gondwana Kalahari Anib Lodge.

Accommodation: Gondwana Kalahari Anib Lodge
Meals: Breakfast, Dinner
Distance: ± 280 km
Driving time: ± 3 – 4 hours

Day 3: Kalahari – Keetmanshoop, Namibia

You have the option of going for an independent walk in the morning or – if you’d like – joining a guided walk with a local guide. You then proceed to Keetmanshoop.
